Until July 8, the Casa del Cinema Association of Trieste will host “ShorTS International Film Festival,” the film event organized by the Maremetraggio Association that will take place at the Cinema Garden for evening screenings. The inauguration was held on Saturday, July 1st 2023, with a special event of the Esterno/Giorno review.
On that occasion, about fifteen people visited the Broletto Gasometer, an industrial building dating back to 1901 that is normally off-limits to the public. The structure, with its imposing dome, has become famous for its striking interior and exterior architecture reminiscent of a giant baptistery.
Prominent among the film productions shot here is “The Invisible Boy” by Gabriele Salvatores. The event held on Saturday was a unique opportunity to immerse oneself in the film atmosphere and discover the secrets of filming.
The visit helped promote the cultural heritage of the Friuli Venezia Giulia region. The appointments of Esterno/Giorno, a project of the House of Cinema in Trieste aim to enhance unusual and important places for cinema and culture in our region.
